MISSION STATEMENT:

     CNUCOM IMIG's goal is to promote and support student interest in Internal Medicine and its diverse subspecialties. We work with students and faculty to assist students in all stages of preparing for a career in Internal Medicine. Students are provided with resources for exploring the field of Internal Medicine through local physician speakers, conferences, and workshops. As an affiliation of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Northern California Chapter, IMIG assists with the transition from students to full-fledged physicians with emphasis on professionalism, medical ethics, lifestyle, and medical education.

Community Service: In collaboration with Volunteers of America and the Sacramento Family Food Bank, IMIG hosts volunteering opportunities throughout the year to address nutrition and food access in our local communities.
