Mission Statement:

The mission of SNMA-CNU chapter is to work to improve the health of underserved groups in the greater Sacramento region. Through this work, students will gain a deeper understanding of the unique needs of the underserved communities and be introduced to the clinical aspects of medicine. Our goal is to educate students about the issues causing health disparities between different groups and ways in which we, as future physicians and members of the community, can work to alleviate health disparities. We are a group of compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic medical students who strive to build healthier communities.
