The mission of the California Northstate University Oncology Interest Group is to cultivate interest and to introduce aspiring physicians to the oncology specialty. CNU OIG strives to expose students to the various sub-specialties of the field, including but not limited to pediatric oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology and clinical and basic science research. We aim to connect students with faculties and physicians for professional development and networking opportunities. In addition, we intend to provide community service and outreach activities to promote cancer awareness.
